We had family feast day. Any adult in our Ss lives were welcomed. We provided man basic meal and had a violinist. The parents and guardians were thrilled! The Ss cooked and then ate with their adults. I love leading this group of adults and Ss. #smallschooolbigideas

My daughter told me I’m the dad version of PTO mom! When I side eyed her she said it’s a compliment. She explained that I wear many hats but always show up for them. So I guess I’ll embrace my PTO mom vibe.

I didn’t send my normal daily class agenda to my college Ss this morning. I was also late. Class starts at 2:00. At 2:07 I had 3 missed calls and a 4th call was ringing. I answered and my student said Dr. King, we just need to make sure you’re ok. My ❤️! Love them.
