Question: "How often to people fall off of the paddle boards during stand up Yoga" Answer: "We get that question more than anything else. The water is 3 feet deep for our yoga classes, and we had 2 people fall off our paddle boards last summer. It is a very safe!" #1MCWaco

Question: "What is your social media strategy?" Answer: "We use facebook and instagram primarily, but we are trying to shift our focus to instagram. We have many videos on our facebook page and that seems to generate the most traction." #1MCWaco

Question: "Do you find that most of your clients are locals or tourists? What is your ideal demographic?" Answer: "During the summer, we primarily serve tourists. A lot of local families will come by. We are looking to implement paddle board tours later this year." #1MCWaco

Question: "Have you faced any issues with water quality?" Answer: "The city is doing a tremendous job of cleaning up the river, and you can tell if you get out on the water." #1MCWaco

Question: "What has surprised you the most about opening up your business?" Answer: "Honestly, everything. Where I have learned the most is that everything in Waco follows the school an religious calendar. We are learning to follow the cycles and adjust accordingly." #1MCWaco

Question: "What have you done to increase foot traffic?" Answer: "It has been challenging. Now that the river walk is completed, it has tremendously increased foot traffic, and we anticipate that to continue as the weather clears up for the rest of the year." #1MCWaco

Question: "What services are your primary revenue driver? Which services could help you during the slow season?" Answer: "Paddle board rentals are our largest revenue driver. Our fitness and yoga classes have the potential to smooth our the seasonality." #1MCWaco

Question: "What can we as a community do for you?" Answer: "Advertising is a big hurdle for us. We would love to connect with colleges and school in town. We are also looking to hire some students!" #1MCWaco
