Was honored to meet icon #RichardRoundtree (& “Shaft” director legend #GordonParks ). The lauding of his role in changing how Black leading men were viewed is true. He showed the spectrum of great Black actors could incl. him, Poitier & others. My condolences to his family.🕯️

I'm saddened by the passing of the great #HarryBelafonte , whom I had the honor of meeting. While his creative milestones are outstanding, his critical place & role in civil rights history are undeniable. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. #RIPHarryBelafonte 🕯️🙏🏾
