4 year terms of government in Victoria are simply way too long to have to endure and should never have been introduced. They have not served the public well at all as it contributes to complacency, incompetence and corruption. Govt becomes way too comfortable and unaccountable.

Watching South Melbourne Town Hall deteriorate before our eyes has got to be one of the saddest sights around. Why should ratepayers foot the bill for Port Phillip council office workers to work from home when this building should be the beating heart of providing local services?
