It could be, but public schools would have to completely fall apart. The private sector would swoop in and fill the void but that would ultimately hurt the neediest of students most.

As an American, I support the right to peaceful protests. But as I drove past a protest today and realizing that these people, if really organized, could’ve made an equally powerful message helping in their communities. Stupid signs and screaming don’t change peoples minds.

Another school shooting, this time in Dallas. I wish I could explain to non-educators how hard this last stretch of the school year is. It really is out of control in relation to apathy and misbehavior. It’s off-the-rails type stuff y’all.

This is why fewer young people are electing to go to college. The world is such a different place than it was 20 years ago. You can basically learn everything you’d need for a career from a monthly WiFi payment. (With some exceptions) The current ROI is atrocious.

The best teachers facilitate learning. They are more of a classroom coach rather than a direct lecturer.
