We really do need to change this narrative surrounding grief. My neighbour’s wife has just died I hear ppl still saying things like: ‘she wouldn’t want you to be sad’, ‘she’s in a better place’. ‘Remember the good times’ STOP ✋ Let us grieve! We can take as long as we need!

Congratulations to the wards Anchor, Oak, CRCH CATU and Harold White who have all achieved the hallmark award for quality end of life care. Amazing teams and so wonderful to have their work recognised and celebrated. Well done to all colleagues on those wards for your hard work.

Wednesday morning(post night shift)I went to the gym. Fell off a rowing machine which resulted in another knee dislocation, also sustained a #. Went to A and E, had it manipulated back in, stood up and it popped straight back out. Now awaiting an urgent knee replacement.
