Niagara smoke sim driven by my microphone audio in real-time. The audio spectrum controls particle position, brightness, and smoke emission. In theory you could project these behind your performer / DJ for some live audio visuals.

I love stuff like this because it's not something I expected users to do, but seeing it here, it makes perfect sense. With radial sym on, you can snap the shape to itself, making a perfectly straight line or ring around a cylinder

I wrote a material and texture manager for Blender to make it easy for the artists to assign the shaders from a shader library, then fill in the blacks with their own textures. I guess i make tools for the moment.
