One of the Cubs (and his Mum) popped round to return an item. During a quick conversation on what we can/cannot do (regarding camps) he piped up “People should be talking about Cubs not the pubs!” - I couldn’t have put it better. #go13th

The early mist is rising on a fine morning here Ratlingate Scout Activity Centre for the Cumbria WSJ Leader selection for UK Contingent 🇬🇧⚜️ . Good luck to all who are attending and want to take on the adventure of a lifetime. #CumbriaScouts

So after six hundred and two days in exile (and with all but four sessions taking place outside) we returned to the Scout Hut tonight. It was frantic, frenetic and noisy but we’re home again! We’ve all been reminded to never take our homes for granted. #go13th #CumbriaScouts

For the first time in two years we had a real Cub day out. We were meant to be supporting Great Swim (sadly cancelled due to high winds) so we made the best of the day with a hike before a challenge Treetop Trek & Nets I wouldn’t, would you? #CumbriaScouts #go13th

Good luck to Harry who used to be a Beaver, Cub and Scout at 13th Carlisle. Did “Bacon, sausage, brown or red?” help hone his skills? Perhaps not! #go13th #CumbriaScouts newsandstar.co.uk/news/20880184.…

Thanks to all the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who helped out, either last week or today, supporting the Stanwix Community Association Coronation Celebration. Your actions helped raise awareness of, and funds for, the Carlisle Affordable Food Hub. #go13th #BigHelpOut #CumbriaScouts

Well done to everyone from across the NW who took part in the ShelterBox Scavenger Hunt in Liverpool today. It was hot and tiring, with lots of walking, but you were all fantastic. Same again next year ?#go13th #CumbriaScouts #nwscouts

We’ve been astounded at how quick one of our seconders can solve a Rubik’s cube? Could your Cubs do any better? Now there’s a challenge. #CumbriaScouts #go13th #rubikscube

The Cubs enjoyed a midsummer night hike tonight, finishing at 11.55pm for a sleepover. They followed footpaths for five miles without ever needing to use a torch. That’s the joy of midsummer. - the downside, they’ll be up again from sunrise. #go13th #CumbriaScouts
