Negotiating success! Recently my son Akshat Anand along with Rijul Rajan & Chhavi Chawla, 2nd yr students at NLU Jodhpur secured a Gold Medal at ADR-ODR International Negotiation Competition org by ADR ODR International & the European Institute for Conflict Resolution at Dubai.

Happy at my son Akshat Anand, a law student at National Law University, Jodhpur making some good headway at an international competition held at IIMC Colombo.

Such competitions provide opportunities to young minds to raise their benchmark and get the best out of themselves.

On a recent trip to Scotland, one of the finest experiences was watching #democracy at work at the Scottish Parliament.

At the Scottish Parliament we also had an opportunity to watch the proceedings of Hon MSPs. Their upcoming Festival of Politics sounds fascinating!

Life here seems rhythmic, fast-paced, fun. The street resembles a melting pot of cultures, with people of diverse nationalities throbbing its grey-marbled roads brusquely; its heritage buildings sprinkled with modernity.

In his one year of rigorous hard work, on three occasions I pressed mild panic button telling Akshat that the only option for him was to excel, and CLAT was one of the surest ways of doing this when in XII. In hindsight I realize, how strongly, and seriously he took the advice.
