An intrepid band of thrill seekers headed south last weekend to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It was an action-packed day with not even the tallest, scariest or fastest of rollercoasters proving too much for our bunch of adrenaline junkies. #BoysBrigade #BBAdventure #LifeToTheFull

The first day of Summer Camp 2025 saw us travelling to Aberdeenshire, stopping at Funparx in Dundee to try out the inflatables, the slides and the assault course, After arriving at our home we settled in and enjoyed a game of football in nearby Monymusk. More to follow!

A packed day two of Camp began at Lochter Activity Centre where boys tried the segways, go-karting, put their Fortnite air rifles and climbing. Back at base later, there was tree climbing and Jacob's Ladder before a game of rounders in the evening. Yet more to follow tomorrow!

The serenity of Knockburn Loch was shattered when the pirates of the 130th arrived for some paddleboarding along with a go on the inflatable obstacle course. Later on after pizza for dinner it was a game of Capture the Flag and marshmallows by the camp fire. Home time tomorrow!

⚽️ While Scotland played, the real action was at Scotstoun! Our Junior Section joined the Partick District 5-a-side football with 7 teams, 40 boys & 104 goals scored. 🥉 Our team finished 3rd - with bronze medals all round! 👏 #bbadventure #glasgowwestend

The Great BB Bake Off came to the 130th on Friday when boys fought it out to see who could make the best banana bread. Not too many showstoppers but a few star bakers did a decent job, even if the washing up took longer than the baking.

Inspired by Europe’s Ryder Cup team, boys visited @TopGolf Glasgow to see how their own skills measured up. Thankfully, the atmosphere was a bit less intense in Rutherglen than in Bethpage, and boys enjoyed it whether it was their first time swinging a club or not. #BoysBrigade

As part of Remembrance Day worship at Broomhill Hyndland Church, our lead bugler Stewart Gray played the Last Post and Reveille. The Company wasn’t on parade today but we look forward to joining worship next Sunday, followed by a march past. #BBadventure #RemembranceSunday

Our first Church Parade of the session took place in chilly, but bright & sunny conditions at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church. The Bugle Band did a great job at the march past, playing Sousa, Georgia & Robin Hood. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it a memorable occasion.

Anchor Boys & Junior Section wrapped up warm last Friday when they took to the slopes for an evening of tubing at Bearsden Ski Centre. Plenty of bravery was on display as boys made the most of the slippery conditions whilst leaders & parents did their best to stave off the cold.

There were high-octane thrills aplenty when boys paid a visit to the TeamSport TeamSport Karting track in Clydebank for an evening of racing. Admittedly, some of the wheel-to-wheel action more closely resembled the dodgems, but everyone had a good time nonetheless. #BoysBrigade

Congratulations to our Juniors who marched into action today at the Figure Marching competition hosted by BB Glasgow & BB Paisley. After hard work perfecting their turns and timing, the boys lifted 1st place in the Glasgow event & marched home with 2nd overall! #BBadventure
