Took advantage of the 86 degree weather today and got out to the local community park. It was very nice, clean with tons of activities. Going to look into pickle ball. Definitely made the right move out of California.

“High cost of living” is a myth concocted by the poor and middle because they can’t afford what the rich have. I will prove this point by living off $50 in food for an entire week.

When I was a kid a loaf of bread, mustard, lunch meat, a blanket, family and a nice shade tree at a park made for some of the best memories of my life. Cost of living is what you make it.

One of the keys to growing wealth is keeping what you make, taxes can really slow your wealth building journey. That’s where a good tax strategy comes into play. Most don’t realize how important this is. I encourage everyone to learn tax preparation.

A good tax strategy evolves throughout the year it’s not a set it and forget yearly task. But you won’t know to adjust unless you understand taxes and your CPA/Preparer won’t be watching over your finances 24/7 to spot it either. Learn taxes.

Here’s a new one for me, it’s called an HEA (Home equity agreement) and they’re selling it as an alternative to a HELOC. Spoiler alert it’s criminal. I punched their example into an amortization calculator and it is around 26%. Shocking and criminal
