Today, we #GiveThanks for our five wonderful children & their spouses. We love them dearly & we are so proud of them.

So very grateful my for parents. My father, Dick Thurston, a Naval Academy graduate & pilot met my mother, Mary Lou Jenkins, while she was finishing her degree at Stanford. Married over 50 years, Dad has passed away but my Mom is still going strong at age 90! #GiveThanks

My wonderful wife Janett celebrates her 70th Birthday today. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. (We are pictured here with our granddaughter Aspen on her 8th Birthday.)

On September 3rd, we celebrated our 48th Wedding Anniversary. We feel so blessed by our family, our Missionary sons & daughters, and our friends worldwide. This picture was taken on our very first date, five months before our marriage. Life is wonderful!

Today I’m grateful for all those who serve & sacrifice for our country. This photo is of my uncle, Lt. Wright Thurston, an Army pilot killed during World War II. I was named after him, as was our son & grandson. As a role model & example, he has inspired me throughout my life.
