On Sunday, Royal Air Force Air Cadets from 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron joined Cadets and Staff from across Merseyside Wing to commemorate the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

The sky’s the limit for 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron as RAF Air Cadets made memories that will last a lifetime as they took to the skies over RAF Woodvale. With the support of 632 Volunteer Gliding School, they've earned their Blue Wings after an exhilarating first flight.

Congratulations to Cadet Adam Burzynski who last week was recognised as Squadron ‘Cadet of the Month’ for November 2026 for his performance & contribution to our activities over the past month. He was presented with his Certificate by our Squadron Commander, Flt Lt Josh Frawley.

This past weekend included one of our staff, WO Barry Seal, along with FS Ella Critchlow, Sgt Mia Kellett, Cdt Charlie Lennon & Cdt Isobel Norman at 610 (Chester) Sqn for either a Youth or Activity First Aid Course. Congratulations to you all for passing the course.

It’s been a great month at 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron & we are proud to say our Cadets achieved, 1 Blue, 3 Bronze & 1 Silver First Aid badges, a pair of Bronze Wings, 2 Bronze Marksman & 4 Trained Shot awards as well as the completion of a JNCO course. Well done to all.
