The sky’s the limit for 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron as RAF Air Cadets made memories that will last a lifetime as they took to the skies over RAF Woodvale. With the support of 632 Volunteer Gliding School, they've earned their Blue Wings after an exhilarating first flight.

We’re extremely proud of the efforts of our Cadets & Adult Volunteers over this past weekend, all of whom looked very smart & represented not only the RAF Air Cadets, but also our Parent Service of the Royal Air Force with both Pride & Honour at Remembrance services and parades.

One of our cadets, Sgt Kieron Young, joined Merseyside Wing on a visit to Airbus Broughton and loved it — from learning about careers and apprenticeships to seeing A350 wings built on the assembly line. A fantastic STEM opportunity! #merseysidewing #development #aviation
