A proud day for 207 (City of Glasgow) Battery Royal Artillery Battery of 105RegimentRoyalArtillery as they fired a 9 round 'feu de joie' gun salute to mark the end of the 800th anniversary year of the foundation charter for the Royal Burgh of Dumbarton, granted by Alexander II on July 8, 1222. Delighted to have proposed the idea.

At noon today 206 (Ulster) Battery, assisted by 502 (Ulster) Squadron RAUXAF, carried out a 21 Gun Salute, at Hillsborough Castle to mark the birthday of Her Majesty The Queen. The Salute was taken by The Lord Lieutenant of County Antrim, Mr David McCorkell. #DefenceTeamNI☘️
