The McIntosh County Sheriff's Office barred me from bringing my audio recorder to last night's public meeting about rezoning of ancestral Gullah Geechee land. I pulled up the Georgia Open Meetings Act on my laptop and showed it to the chief deputy. It made no difference to him:
