Tory minister in the Lords confirms that the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill won't come into effect until 2025/26.

That is painfully slow and suggests that despite taking years to introduce this unambitious legislation the groundwork has not been done.

✅Abolish forfeiture
✅Allow all leaseholders to extinguish their ground rent
✅Ensure premiums are as cheap as possible
