Just compared three sites when creating a quick tool to view and screenshot 3D models: 1️⃣ v0 - 4 attempts, no success; 2️⃣ Lovable - 3 attempts, success; 3️⃣ bolt.new - 1 attempt, success (though the lighting was off); We need more evals!

Updates on the game front are coming soon, but for now, I'm experimenting with a block-swapping feature in the world builder. You can swap into a single or multiple blocks (with equal weighting). Fun for quick re-designs.

Kinda crazy when people think AI is just a trend. Microsoft laid off 6k last month and 8k this month. 230ish layoffs per day doesn't feel like a trend to me. 😭

Such a great time to build. The gap between where products are currently and what's possible is larger than ever. Most organisations are layering AI on top of outdated workflows. We need to rethink how things are built from the ground up.

Spent today adding fog control to the HYTOPIA SDK. In the next SDK update you'll be able to control ambient fog color, and near/far render distance to influence the density and distance of the effect. Adds a nice vibe overall. Here's from the new Frontiers MMORPG in progress
