What once was an attempted Out Of Context James Bond account is now just a James Bond account. I’m nonetheless happy to be here. He/Him. 22.

Prince actually refused to license the use of holograms in his likeness, calling them “the most demonic thing imaginable … If I was meant to jam with Duke Ellington, we would have lived in the same age.” He would have HATED this.

this era of chatgpt and nonchalantness has killed writing. many of the great works are social critiques. writing is a muscle and being able to praise and criticize things is an important skill. you lack media literacy and it’s sad

I share this every year in celebration of #JamesBondDay 🍸 ⚪️⚪️🔴 My 007, Timothy Dalton, sums up (with spine-tingling accuracy) the core of this phenomenal franchise. Now more than ever, we must champion Ian Fleming and Albert R Broccoli, and their bold desire to entertain.

Goldeneye on the big screen for its 30th anniversary was a revelation. The 4k presentation was out of this world. James Bond has never looked or sounded better ⚪️⚪️🔴

Cooked society we’re in. Point out that you can mitigate harm to the environment by not using generative AI and you get looked at sideways.

Taking my 18 year-old son to watch Goldeneye, and realizing with some quick math that the last time I saw this in-theater, I was exactly his age! A classic to be enjoyed by all generations

AI IS A DETERRENT FOR ME AS A CONSUMER. I WILL ACTIVELY AVOID PRODUCTS WITH AI, I WILL RECOMMEND ALTERNATIVE AI-FREE OPTIONS, AND MY OPINION ON A COMPANY IS ALWAYS SOURED BY USE OF AI

If the Brosnan Bond era has an overall theme, it's villains' personal narratives and the perception of truth in a world increasingly obfuscated by technology I'm not sure contemporary audiences fully appreciated its relevance but it's why the era still holds up so well for me!
