Sounding like another really positive day for #Commanders rookie Kain Medrano. Reportedly had a TFL and a PBU while getting reps with the 1s today. Medrano was excited to work with his former LB coach, Ken Norton, and it’s paying off. Also: Tyler Owens also got more 1s reps

Kain “Bane” Medrano showed flashes in the Run game on Friday. Here he sheds the centers block before tackling the RB for a minimal gain.

Another example of Kains help in the Run game. Limited by the pile up in front of him (think he could have made a play on the RB earlier if not so) he still wraps the RB for a minimal gain.

Kain Medrano is playing very good football right now. Look at him communicating with the other young LBer to shift, watch his face mask surveying outside to inside, then stands up the TE before stopping the RB. Bane is surpassing all expectations I had for him.

Every NFL team has a team clinician. Don’t just offer help make it MANDATORY. Sometimes as a man especially in the football world we’re afraid of being judged or looked at weak. Make it mandatory to have a sit down with guys cause most of em won’t take the initiative.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
