Very thoughtful & sober analysis. I suppose it is also indicative of RISE Mzansi being held to a higher standard than its opponents. This a good thing. One must not demand to be compared & held to below the gutter standards. “Well, if it was the ANC you wo…” None o’that.

It is still where I put my vote and I have zero regrets. There is not a single party out there that appeals to ME. Mistakes will be made. Sh*t happens. I don’t see Rise ever engaging in racial polarisation going forward. It certainly isn’t what I know it to be about.

It is backwards. The DA does it. The EFF does it. FF+ does it. The ANC does it. Everyone does it. Rise tried it & I hope it’ll never happen again. Racial polarisation is so damaging to SA’s social fabric. I hope a lesson has been learned. Just talk about yourself, don’t polarise.
