"If you don't provide a value for an attribute, Amazon Cognito sets it to its default value" on such a large resource without a way to explicitly prevent concurrent writers is crazy. This action can throw a ConcurrentModificationException but it's not clear when it would?

Change my mind: Bedrock has the absolute worst error reporting of any Amazon Web Services service. On top of an unfortunate lack of emitting events to EventBridge and hidden limits in at least some regions. Sometimes I forget how half-baked AWS services are when they're released.

I just saw this info notice in CloudWatch Application Signals about 'computing SLOs'. I really like the Google SRE definition of SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs (sre.google/sre-book/servi…). According to that, this would be picking SLIs based on current performance, which they advise against

Chat GPT 4o is so reaffirming. It seems to start every answer by telling me how clever I am for thinking of the question I asked and how much it loves the problem I'm trying to solve. It feels super insincere and I have no idea why I care given that it is an AI.
