Opening day is one week from today! We can't wait to have folks back on the grounds! April: Open Friday-Sunday May-October: Open everyday except Tuesdays! The first two days (4/5-4/6) will be members-only days, then we will be officially open to the public starting April 7th!

Our Bear Awareness Day is coming up! This year it will be Saturday, May 25th ALL day at YWS! Demonstrations in the bear enclosure will take place between 10 and 12 pm. Save the date, this is one of the best days to stop by the Sanctuary all year!

It's May 1st! That means our summer hours have begun! We are now open every day except Tuesdays! 10:00am-4:00pm (last admission is 3:30pm). It's not quite this green yet...but it won't be long!
