Year 1 have had an exciting week for Book week. We took part in a fabulous dance work shop based on the story Pinocchio, shared our favourite stories with the class and Year Six Phoenix Primary and dressed up in pyjamas for World Book Day 📚

Number Day raising money for the NSPCC

This week, Year 1 have been talking about mental health and how it’s good to be connected to one another. We also discussed ways in which we can support each other. We did this through stories, song and games.

Year 1 have had a busy week. We kicked off with Safer Internet Day watching Mo and Jaz’s story and discussing how important it is to stay safe online and tell a trusted adult if something is wrong. We then looked at technology and how it has changed over time.

Year 1 joined Year 3 this morning for some cross curricular learning. We combined science with PE and participated in many physical activities and also learnt about our bodies and how we should look after them.
