Children’s increased access to online space and their loss of access to real, outdoor space are two sides of the same coin. Both caused by an appalling neglect of children’s needs, both feeding into each other, both doing huge harm to children.

Curious to know about any local authorities who are doing great stuff around enabling play in local greenspace - more than installed structures but creative approaches especially those that are inclusive. Can anyone signpost me? #natureplay #outdoorplay #equity #inclusion

Well said, Polly Curtis. Investing in social infrastructure and community networks should include creating conditions for children to play out in their neighbourhoods. Plenty of evidence to show how much this can benefit children, famiilies and communities. #SpatialJustice
