The voices of young Black children are often missing from the narratives we hear about school experiences. Let’s change that! I need help recruiting for my dissertation study. RTs appreciated. DM me with questions. Thank you!!!

It would be awful to see these playgrounds go under. Fingers crossed for fruitful negotiations and a more secure future.

Apply for photo ID to vote (called a ‘Voter Authority Certificate’). If you work with 18 year olds upwards please share. It’s urgent as the deadline is approaching. The government don’t seem to be actively sharing this. So we need to. gov.uk/apply-for-phot…

Children’s increased access to online space and their loss of access to real, outdoor space are two sides of the same coin. Both caused by an appalling neglect of children’s needs, both feeding into each other, both doing huge harm to children.

Curious to know about any local authorities who are doing great stuff around enabling play in local greenspace - more than installed structures but creative approaches especially those that are inclusive. Can anyone signpost me?

Well said, Polly Curtis. Investing in social infrastructure and community networks should include creating conditions for children to play out in their neighbourhoods. Plenty of evidence to show how much this can benefit children, famiilies and communities.

Come along to see our very own and, very fabulous senior playworker, Sianead, on the panel of play experts, celebrating play, at Hackney Museum on Thursday 25th April at 6.30. Come along and give your support of play/playwork. It will be a great event!

The answer is no, it's not a priority. Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee chooses to share this clip that shows how unprepared and dismissive Lee Rowley is in response to Clive Betts MP, who suggests that government 'hasn't got its act together' in terms of the cross-cutting nature of children's play
