High migration tonight! (thank you, John Davitt) If you find a small bird sitting or lying on the sidewalk, it has hit a window and needs your help. Gently place the bird in a paper bag and bring it to WBF or a wildlife rehabber near you.

And just like that...it’s duckling time! We've already got 10 mallard babies in house, all separated from their moms in one way or another. But they’re gaining weight, preening and generally owning the place. Also walking all over their nanny!

How could she not? 😍

A swollen wrist grounded this American crow, but fortunately he was rescued in Chelsea and brought in for care. We’ll be giving him X-rays tomorrow. In the meantime he’s receiving fluids, painkiller and a special Sunday Supper, corvid-style.
