Trans and nonbinary people continue to face widespread discrimination in employment. Egale’s national Working for Change study revealed that 49% of Two Spirit, trans, and nonbinary individuals quit their job due to not feeling accepted in the workplace.

We are facing an #IntimatePartnerViolence epidemic.

Last month there were 4 confirmed femicides in Ontario - 8 in total this year.

Pink Shirt Day was born from an act of compassion in 2007 when two Nova Scotian students stood up against bullying by supporting a fellow student bullied for wearing a pink shirt. This day has grown into a nationwide movement symbolizing solidarity in the fight against bullying.

A lot of us grew up being told that masculinity was about not showing our emotions and being dominant. We love seeing that this is changing. We work every day to ensure this is changing.
