Took my guests today for a wee tour of Blair Athol distillery this afternoon.

A year on D48 highlights: The penultimate day, ticking off the big two on Orkney, Scapa Distillery and Highland Park Whisky, where I got a great tour and tasting, before heading for the harbour and the overnight ferry to Shetland.

A year on D47 highlights: No more mainland as I headed for the northern isles. No distillery today, I just had to get the ferry to Orkney and have a nice scenic cycle around to Kirkwall.

A year on D45 highlights: Up the coast from Helmsdale to Wick with spectacular views out to the Moth Sea. Key stop of the day was Old Pulteney Whisky distillery. A great wee Spot, great staff and tour of the distillery. A lovely coastal dram too.

A year on D44 highlights: Through Brora with a great stop at #ClynelishDistillery . Lovely staff, great tour and hospitality. Then on to a night in Helmsdale.
