#WesternU wishes a happy #VesakDay to all who celebrate!

The festival, also referred to as Wesak or Buddha Day, is celebrated by Buddhists globally on the full-moon day of the lunar month. It honours the birth, enlightenment and passing of Buddha.

Kaia, a second-year student in psychology Huron At Western taking a minor in Italian at Western, is in Italy for an internship course with Rondine Cittadella della Pace Association.

Weather permitting, Global Café will be at University College (UC) hill this Thursday from 3-5 pm with outdoor games in collaboration with Western Campus Rec.

Refreshments and paper making crafts will also be available in the International and Graduate Affairs Building (IGAB) Atrium!
