#Elasticsearch 8.8.0 dropped yesterday bringing a surprise not mentioned in the release notes... a 14.5% boost in ingest performance. Confirmed on both a single and 4 node cluster. Looks like it may be related to how segments are handled. 🤞that we see more of this from Elastic
