To consider Christ Jesus, the Son sent from God, is a thoughtful lesson in perfect faithfulness. Even in suffering He built the house God appointed Him to build and is worthy of more honor than the house. Hebrews 3:1-3 Psalm 127

The grass withers, the flower fades: but the Word of our God shall stand forever. (Is 40:8) Considering Jesus Christ today, I believe He is the same as He was yesterday and will be forever. He neither withers nor fades. He is the Word made flesh full of grace and truth.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Every suffering, from the most minute irritation to the grandest loss, is a call to know and fellowship with the only Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Mt 16:21; Phil 3:10; Rev 3:19-20

Finding fault and critical words of complaint trap the soul in ungratefulness and paralyze a purpose to genuinely praise. “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.” Ps 113:3

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” Ps 14:1a

Thanking the Lord for life. For the life of children. They are His Heritage and I praise Him for all ten He gave to me and their priceless father. “I have no greater joy than to hear that they walk in the Truth!”

“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.” Psalm 94:16-17

Choosing obedience, “In everything give thanks…” It is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus. Cleansing, grace, walking after Him, great things He is doing, seeking His way, hoping, suffering before glory, love justice, faithful mercies and those yes promises!

“Comfort ye…” and “ I know my Redeemer liveth” and “Worthy is the Lamb…” were a few of the Words that refreshed me. The music, the musicians and The Word of God displayed on the wall! Thank you JAXSYMPHONY for Handel’s Messiah today. Jesus Christ is my Redeemer

Not having all my children with me at Christmas time is a reminder that they are the Lord’s heritage and to Him they belong. The gift of children is temporary. The gift of God’s only begotten Son is forever. The children He gave, help me know what it is to live His love ❤️
