Today #AdventOfCode was fun. I didn’t have much time during the day so I came up with a very naive solution which ran for 54 minutes (!) for the second part but eventually produced the correct result. Later, I just used smarter data structs and got it well under 1 second.

Another year, another ETAPS. Today, I spent a nice day on a workshop on the occasion of Javier Esparza's 60th birthday, where I presented our work on formal verification of array-manipulating programs. Tomorrow, the main conference starts and many talks look really interesting.

This must have been one of the best sessions/tracks I’ve ever seen at a conference. Well done ETAPS Conferences (now on other platforms)!
