Great find man. I was just telling someone the other day about the Vietnam vibes I was getting, and how much (violent) backlash progressives got at the time for protesting that too. People forget that King was *deeply* unpopular with most liberals when he died.

My take is a bit different - admissions to elite universities have over time put more and more weight on extracurriculars

So, there should be no surprise when these admitted students then get to college and devote most of their time to…extracurriculars
