Granted, on Rosmead the materials used look better than the usual tarmac street, and it’s an impressive engineering feat, but it looks sterile and well, grim. It’s looks like a street constructed by someone with a phobia of nature and the colour green!

Yes they could enforce it either side (eg not enforce for through traffic) - but that wouldn't really improve air quality or be of any real benefit to anyone...
