This is so tragic. My sympathy, for what it's worth, to the victims, and my gratitude to the emergency services. As said below, the attacker, afflicted by his MH issues, targeted women. It was also an amazing woman who put an end to his rampage.

Police Recruitment: It's never wise to hire anyone without face-to-face interview, and certainly not police officers. That said, the constant reminders about vile Carrick and Couzens are OTT. Weren't they recruited/interviewed in-person?
