Like everyone else, I only found out about the motor car trial yesterday. While it has had some success giving people alternatives to walking or cycling, there have been huge issues with policing them, safety, parking that need to be fixed.

About 15 years ago I got caught doing the wrong speed on a dual carriageway in a hired van. I forgot about the rules as they don't usually apply to be. I got sent on a speed awareness course. It was excellent and I have been a safer driver since.

People: please can we have quiet neighbourhoods that are easy and safe to get around?
