We are also prepared for further protests on immigration issues. Regrettably, last Sunday in Canary Wharf the line between protest and criminality was crossed with aggression directed at officers. We'd urge anyone protesting this weekend to do so lawfully.

Getting to work. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood MP met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley at Metropolitan Police's Specialist Operations Control Room to observe public order operations. She backed officers for arresting those who support the proscribed terrorist organisation Palestine Action.

We do apologise for any inconvenience that industrial action may cause, however, as different grades are taking action at different times, nobody is having โ€˜5 days offโ€™! Made up stuff is good for engagement though, I guess?

Ed Morris Rango Weโ€™re seeking for TfL to take extreme shifts and fatigue seriously, what this pathway to a shorter working week looks like remains to be negotiated.

Great to hear and see nobody planned their journey or take notice of the well advertised strike action... you could tell people a train is on fire and they'd still board it and complain about the train being on fire...

TfL continue to underestimate the powers of organised workers. RMT should forget 1 week, they should keep going until a deal is reached. Keep the momentum going ๐Ÿ’ชโœŠ

Just a reminder for the 10,000 time its not solely tube drivers striking as majority are with ASLEF who are not striking.

A workforce wouldn't need to strike if a sensible fair agreement is made. The realisation that its people that keep London moving, not robots, should sink into peoples minds this week. A resolution must be met.

A quick guide to Tube unions There are four unions on the Tube RMT is biggest, it represents all grades except management. Most station staff and a third of train drivers are RMT TSSA is next, it represents a minority of all grades including management but no train drivers

ASLEF shrugged (@shruggedaslef) 's Twitter Profile Photo

ASLEF is next, it represents train drivers only, two thirds of Tube drivers are ASLEF Unite is the smallest, it represents workers in the Power Supply Control Room If there's no power supply it doesn't matter who else is working there won't be any trains running

Today is my rest day but I still need to travel into and out if London. Great seeing support staff directing and helping people. One thing to understand this week is staff are vital in keeping London moving. AI will not be replacing their jobs anytime soon. #tube

โ€œYou never feel right. Your head is all wrong. You get brain fog all the time.โ€ Jared Wood from โฆRMTโฉ explains why London Underground staff are on strike

Itโ€™s the first time I believe there has been a strike on both the DLR and the tube on the same day. Different disputes. DLR is a โ€œconcessionโ€ - Tfl pay a private company to run it but set fares and timetable. (KeolisAmey). Concession model isnโ€™t favoured by Govt.

Another long commute into work this morning but I used what God gave me, a brain and common sense to get me in on time. Solidarity to railway colleagues striking today ๐Ÿ‘ you've got this ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช #tubestrike
