Woohoo! White City Bouldering’s CB Lates party raised over £300 for Urban Uprising 🥳🧡🧗‍♀️

We are working with Crossroads_YCA again this year 😁

A new group of young people have been learning to climb at Glasgow Climbing Cen for a few weeks now and these incredible climbers have been conquering new challenges and thriving in this environment 🦊

In 2023 we delivered 18 programmes for 193 young people 🤟

Last week Ben and Ruth visited Cambridge to see the final session of our Climb programme with Cambridge 4 Ukraine at Rainbow Rocket and to catch up with the Cambridge volunteers - onwards and upwards! 😁

Urban Uprising volunteer Danny Vagnozzi interviewed Siebe Vanhee and he talked about his passion for finding purpose in climbing beyond the 'uselessness' of personal objectives by helping people both on and off the wall 🤟

It was the last session of our Climb programme with Cambridge 4 Ukraine at Rainbow Rocket on Monday! The volunteers noted that the young people are sharing ideas to help others complete climbs, working on routes that they had failed and confident to create solutions to the problems 🦊

It was fantastic to chat to so many people about our work and see folk having a great time climbing under the UV lights in their superhero outfits 🦸

Flashback to summer 2023 when @Climb_scotland took young people from Glasgow Clyde College Prince's Trust Teams outdoor climbing 😁🦊🤟

Our Climb programme with Bertha Park High School got off to a flying start last week at alien rock with Miles and Joe 🧗‍♀️

Everyone got stuck in and several people overcame their fears of being up high or sitting back in the harness to be lowered 💪
