Vive L’Entente! 💙 🤍 ❤️
120 years ago, the UK and France signed the #EntenteCordiale .
From building the Channel Tunnel to signing the Lancaster House Treaties in 2010, our firm friendship continues to deliver security and prosperity for both our nations.

Earlier today paid a visit to our friends MAG (Mines Advisory Group) in Banlung Town, Ratanakiri. This UK humanitarian organisation briefed us on their vital work to clear unexploded remnants of war. Love that most of their deminers are Cambodian, with strong female representation 🇬🇧 🫱🏼🫲🏽 🇰🇭.
🌿 Reflecting on our impactful day in Ratanakiri, celebrating #InternationalForestDay 🌳 Immersed in conservation projects, witnessing sustainable community livelihood dedication at 'O Tung' community.

Real journey today - car ferry across a Mekong tributary & motorbike down dirt tracks near Virachey National Park - to meet an indigenous community supported by Fauna & Flora through UK funding.
Bought a water gourd as a souvenir & made it back to Banlung for a lovely sunset!
Exciting 1st day in Ratanakiri!
Yesterday, the 🇬🇧 Embassy team visited ‘Phum Phnom’ hill tribe, experienced women crafting blankets & backpacks. Explored ‘Yeak Laom Lake,’ preserved by Tampuan community.🌿
Grateful for cultural exchange!
