Flexport shipped 17 containers out of Port-au-Prince last week on the first container ship out of Haiti since the riots started.

Donations from Tech for Refugees, a non profit set up by Yuri Milner, have enabled Flexport.org to deliver humanitarian aid for more than 7 million refugees since the start of the Ukraine war in 2022.

The first container ship just called at the port of Baltimore since the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse on March 26th. Excellent work by the salvage crews clearing the channel in to restore Baltimore’s connection to the global ocean so quickly. I thought it would take longer.

Tomorrow the first container ship will return to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti since the riots started. The Flexport team is watching this one closely to make sure our customer cargo that's been sitting there for weeks actually gets out!
