Sebenarnya dua ni ada market berbeza. Okay ni salah satu range harga untuk freelance and agency.Design bunting:Freelance RM35 - RM80Agency RM300 - RM400Jauh beza kan?
Ada ke orang bayar harga mahal macam ni? Yes ada.siapa yang tentukan harga market ni? Consumer la.How? Perspectives.
Contoh.Beli nasi lemak lauk rendang.Tepi jalan RM4Restoran RM20Bila consumer sembang:A: mahal tak nasi lemak Secret Recipe?B: STANDARD la dalam RM20Sebab bila restoran, dorang imagine ada pekerja, ada sewa kedai, etc.
Cuba kalau beli tepi jalan harga RM20A: mahal tak nasi lemak depan tu?B: bapak mahal weyh RM20Perspective:Tapak tak bayar sewa pun, jual tepi jalan, bukan ada brand, untung dapat sorang.
Padahal both nasi lemak guna material sama, renyah nak buat pun sama. Bahan semua sama je.Tapi kena harga beza? Sebabkan status tu la. Satu restoran, satu individual.
Kesimpulannya. Kalau nak jual cikmak harga RM20, build a restaurant. Kalau nak jual design bunting harga RM300, build an agency.
An agency tak semestinya kena ada ramai orang. I used to work with this one agency, staff 3 orang termasuk myself. Boss, accountant and me.But they have all the legal documents stated dorang memang sebuah agensi.
You can team up with other designer, cari la member boleh buat video editing, 3d model ke apa. Team up and build an agency.Or you sorang pun tak ada masalah.
Agency ni perlu ramai orang bila nak join pitch je. Memang perlu staff details berapa orang semua tu.Tapi kalau you tak ada niat nak join pitch, you buat je freelance tapi present yourself as an agency.
My advice, if you are new in freelancing, tapi you confident your design sense are good, start present yourself as an agency. Dekat profile use the term 'we' instead of 'i'.Terus letak harga mahal.Cari client SMEs. Minimum.
Bila you present yourself as freelance, these clients perspective:'Buat design aku dekat rumah duduk depan laptop pakai boxer, lepas tu nak aku bayar kau mahal²?'
