IT Guy. Trying to make sense of the modern world. Failing miserably. Bit (too) sweary. ‘The left’ apparently (i.e. have a shred of humanity).

Well I suppose *technically* it's tricky to get re-elected whilst you're stark bollock naked and gaffer taped to a chair in a bedsit, so I guess it *could* be construed as valid use of campaign funds.

Those mocking Liz Truss should exercise caution. To many she’s a figure of ridicule, but she’s still out there getting airtime, making headlines and, most importantly, she’s still changing minds.

It may be the minds of the easily suggestible or stupid but they’ve all got a vote.

If the most corrupt thing a politician in the UK ever did was declare an incorrect address on the electoral register and possibly avoid £1500 in tax, the entire population would be significantly better off and probably considerably happier.

Unfortunately that’s not the case.

I wonder if the Conservatives will arrange for the crime scene tents to be moved from Nicola Sturgeon's front lawn to Angela Rayner's?

Perhaps the reason that the Conservatives and Daily Mail US are failing so spectacularly to get anybody interested in Angela Rayner’s tax affairs, is that the amount in dispute is less than half of the average increase to people’s annual mortgage repayments caused by Liz Truss.

It’s simultaneously hilarious and soul-sappingly depressing that the far right are complaining that Keir Starmer spent years trying to make Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minister, whilst the far left are complaining that he spent years trying to prevent it.

As long as you ignore the fact that:

- the church is derelict
- the footpath sign has fallen apart
- the lamb is desperate to escape
- black shoes don’t go with white trousers and a camel coat
- the red blouse goes with neither

this is the true meaning of Easter.

Happy Easter!

Nothing of course to do with the fact that it’s a real challenge to get to see a GP, virtually impossible to find a dentist, and, if you do get a referral, waiting lists are longer than the River Nile.

You can’t starve public services and expect there to be no consequences.

They might have got sufficiently wealthy that they just want to enjoy the limelight and sound off about their politics, which isn't well informed.... Dyson should be treated as an expert in making Dysons, no more.

The Lords will continue to vote down the Rwanda Bill - not because we're preventing the will of the people, but because we're upholding the rule of law and fighting those who would turn our nation into an uncaring cold place and our politics into an exercise in hate and division.
