Finally found time to shout about my recent summer reading. First up is the excellent The Wicked of the Earth by A. D. Bergin, a fascinating, thrilling and tense historical crime novel set around the Newcastle witch trials which really brings the city of the 1600s to life

Finally found time to shout about my recent summer reading. Second up is the terrific Vengeance is Mine by Michael Wood, a North East thriller with twists which had my head spinning. It's a golden period for crime writing in the area and this is a great addition to the canon

Finally found time to shout about my recent summer reading. Third up is Geneva by Richard Armitage which like The Silent Killer features a main character with Alzheimer's disease. It's a pacy, cinematic thriller and I'm looking forward to talking to Richard about it very soon.

Finally found time to shout about my recent summer reading. Last up is the superb Living is a Problem by Doug Johnstone It's the latest in the brilliant Skelfs series and like all the rest I devoured it. It's amazing that a series primarily about death can be so life-enhancing!

So Trevor Wood ... Mike Sharp finished #TheSilentKiller last night and is now deeply disappointed that I didn't have book 2 lined up ready for him to start.... obviously I have pointed out that this is entirely your fault... please hurry along.

Perfect timing Trevor Wood This wonderful prize arrived in the post this morning just before I go away on Monday. Thanks to InterviewRoomOne .. whom everyone should follow to win more prizes or simply enjoy everything book related they have to offer 😁👌
