#ICYMI , Archbishop Ryan High School was recognized on the Senate floor earlier this week for tremendous accomplishments from their cheerleading team, securing a PIAA State Championship, and bowler Joey McNally, securing a state title at the PA High School Bowling Championship.

Special Olympics PA was in the Capitol this week and I promised them last weekend that I would stop by for a round of bocce.

I'm going to stick to basketball as my sport, but I had a great time connecting again with these athletes. Proud to support such a great organization!

Last Friday I was able to attend the Steamfitters L.U. 420 Monte Carlo Fundraiser.

This event benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For children who are battling a critical illness, the Wish journey is more than a trip or a momentary experience, it can be life changing.

Today we celebrate International Workers' Day, a time to honor the backbone of our communities – our hardworking labor force. As a firm believer in the power of union labor, I stand in solidarity with workers everywhere.

I was truly taken aback when I was presented with an award at the Jack Costello Boxing Club fundraiser last Friday. I will always support improving the health and self-esteem of our kids through athletic training, which is what they are all about! 🥊 💪🏻
