It’s important to be clear what this is about: for months, students have asked for financial transparency and accountability from the institution that takes their money, and the administration used its private police force to shut them down.

If true this is absolutely horrifying & heartbreaking for Palestinians who’ve been using that crossing (after being charged a lot of money) to evacuate the most vulnerable/ those who are injured sick & elderly. They will be completely stuck in an area that’s about to be pummeled

I want to point out a key difference here: the citation from 2021 explicitly says the journalists of Ukraine. the way this citation is written can include any journalist covering Gaza. not explicitly Palestinian ones.

Despite everything and all the sorrows they went through like all Gazans, the last Christians of Gaza celebrated Orthodox Easter with joy and all hope that the resurrection of Jesus will bring them peace and justice. This is the first time that the Holy fire couldn’t reach Gaza.
