Today I lost a gold ring with a green cushion cut amethyst. Was a special present & now very sad. Foolishly put it in (clearly too shallow) pockets. On a day I cycled through Cambridge & was on trains & around Wymondham & Norwich. Not holding breath but in case someone found.

Not every project has to spend millions to make a real impact locally; in Ayrshire since 1993 Heritage BPT have been quietly buying in turn >10 different small historic but derelict properties, restoring them & selling on as usable family homes.
