Last stop for the day for our time travellers QEGS Barnet who visited Langemarck German Cemetery, the site of the first gas attack. Everyone going on to the hotel now for the evening. Cemetery staff very complimentary about our students and the questions they asked.
The Battlefields trip students and staff QEGS Barnet are currently visiting Tyne Cot - the world’s largest Commonwealth memorial. Summer flowers making it all the more poignant. One student found the name of her Great Grandfather in the memorial book. #Remembrance #PeaceAndLove
