I have three computers (laptop, desktop, TV streamer) and one Microsoft account. There is NO WAY these computers should share the same network credentials on a home network, but Microsoft has no problem forcing me to do so - which, of course, doesn't work. This is SOOOO arrogant!

Got a wonderful new Windows 11 laptop. Upon startup, Microsoft required me to sign into a Microsoft account and used it to kidnap key file folders and store them remotely. It also forced my network and task scheduler to use Microsoft credentials. THIS IS SO TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

I propose a law that allows a pregnant woman to declare that she wants the baby's father to have full responsibility for the child. Police would then be required to get DNA from all potential fathers, find the right one, and deliver the baby into his care for the next 18 years.

I discovered this week that Zoom makes simultaneous translation really easy. I should have known that Zoom would have this obvious extension, but still I was impressed. Does this render obsolete all the headphones and dual channel transmitters that used to be in conference rooms?
