On Saturday, we gathered to spread my mom’s ashes at one of her favorite places, Matagorda Beach. The breeze, the waves, the sunset—it all felt like her. It was so beautiful! We’re deeply grateful for the friends and loved ones who joined us to celebrate her extraordinary life.

A full day of adventures with my niece, Zina Elizabeth, is just what the doctor ordered. Being her Uncle Mike has its challenges to be sure, but that smile full of joy makes them all worthwhile! I’m enjoying these little moments.🍧
