Just saw a video of cops removing ASU women protesters’ hijabs. I wore hijab for 13 years, and I am so horrified by this violation. That would have felt like being forced to strip in public, the cops taking off my shirt or my pants. Truly disgusting!

From watching cable news and reading the mainstream press, it seems like they figured out that painting the encampments as violent riots hasn't been working the way they hoped. Now it's about curfews, effectively imposed by nature, and its just too bad the students aren't obeying

CNN just aired live footage of a student getting dragged away and a crowd yelling 'medic!' and then cutting back to studio before saying 'You know, you will notice that the police aren't wearing gas masks, so that tells you they aren't going to be that violent'
