I sat in this spot near Chugwater for an entire hour watching rapid cloud rotation but no tornado. The second I packed up and started my car the first twister dropped. This was the only image I got and I don't know why it's framed like that but I kind of like it.

Oh wow, I found where it happened

Once a medieval hunting forest for the nobility, now a peaceful haven for wildlife, this is Wyming Brook, where a stream trickles over moss-covered rocks, overhung with the dipping branches of ancient trees. It never fails to offer quiet spots to escape the pull and push of life.

People of the old religion in W Slovenija used to make a 'juračac' on the 3rd full moon to hang above the stable door. 13 peeled twiggs and 3 pebbles of different colours knitted in. This wreath protected the cattle agaist spells, illness and blood & milk sucking snake 'kačunac'.
